Post Basic Diploma in Neonatal Nursing

It covers the specialized newborn care facilities, special care nurseries and neonatal intensive care units [NICU’s] as our country is on the threshold of a neonatal survival revolution.    

Diploma in Nursing (GNM)

Diploma in Nursing is a medical-related course that deals with the study of methods treating patients and saving their lives. The duration of the course is 3 years and it enables students to study the fundamentals of Nursing.

Post Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing

This programme is designed to help registered nurses gain specialised nursing care expertise and skills in order to provide quality nursing care to critically ill patients in intensive care settings.

Master of Nursing [M.Sc.,]

After completing the two-year Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree programme, students would be able to serve as a Registered Nursing Tutor or a Clinical Instructor at a variety of nursing educational institutions. The registered nurse with a P.C.B.Sc will provide services in a healthcare setting. Vocational schools, industrial schools, and occupational and rehabilitation centres are also examples of vocational schools.

Bachelor of Nursing.[B.Sc.(N)]:

Candidates who have successfully completed their 10+2 exams from a recognised board and are from the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their compulsory subjects are eligible to apply.45% in PUC for General Candidates and 40% in P UC for SC/ST Candidates.

Diploma in Nursing [GNM]:

 Pass in PUC and PDC or any equivalent in any Group of subjects with minimum 35% marks.

Post certificate Bachelor of Nursing [P.C. B.Sc.(N)]:

Pass in Diploma in Nursing with KNC registration

Post Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing:

Pass in Diploma Nursing / B.Sc.(Nursing) with minimum 45% marks in elective subjects.

Post Basic Diploma in Neonatal Nursing:

 Pass in Diploma Nursing/B.Sc.(Nursing) with one  year experience with Teaching/Staff nurse.

Master of Nursing [M. Sc.(N)]:

Pass in B.Sc.[N] with 1 year experience (or) pass in P.C. B.Sc.[N]
